Adewale O. Owoseni (Ph.D.) is a Faculty member of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria where he teaches Philosophy. His research interests include African Philosophy, Environmental Ethics, and Human and Animal Studies. Previously, he was a Research Associate and Postdoctoral fellow (2021 – 2023) at the Centre for the Advancement of Scholarship (CAS), University of Pretoria (UP), South Africa, dedicated to the theme of Environmental Humanities. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Mahindra Humanities Center (MHC), Harvard University, dedicated also to the theme of Environmental Humanities. He has published some journal articles, chapters in books, and brief entries regarding Yoruba thought on Human and Nonhuman Animal Relations.
