Mr Ibini Oladapo Adeola is an entrepreneur, author, researcher, and documentary producer with interests spanning the automotive industry, technology, literature, and African Hebrew Studies. A graduate of the University of Lagos, he began his professional career in 1997 during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme at Nigercafe, a coffee processing and exporting firm. Following his service year, he worked briefly at Metropolitan Merchant Bank for seven months before joining his family’s business, Agbonmagbe Motors, where he took on the responsibility of managing and developing the enterprise. Building on his experience in the automotive industry, he established Agbonmagbe Automobiles and Automotives Ltd. in 2021. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a recognised name in the automotive sector, with a significant presence in the insurance industry. His entrepreneurial interests also extend to technology. In 2009, he founded 3AL.com, a technology company through which he partnered with First Bank Plc to launch a social commerce platform, which explored the intersection of technology, business, and digital commerce.
In 2020, he began his journey as an author, and has since written eight books. His intellectual interests have continued to evolve through research, documentation, and the digital media. In 2023, he began producing documentaries and online educational videos, subsequently creating over 70 documentaries and lectures focused on Paleo-Hebrew language and related subjects. His commitment to the study, documentation, and dissemination of knowledge on African Hebrew history and heritage culminated in his partnership with the Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan, to establish the African Hebrew Documentation and Research Centre. As the Convener of the Centre, he is committed to creating a platform for research, documentation, learning, and the preservation of knowledge, while fostering academic engagement and interdisciplinary conversations around African Hebrew Studies.
